(GSM) – FC Porto kept up their hopes of claiming a Champions League spot on Sunday with a 3-0 victory away to bottom side Belenenses.
Despite a long spell of pressure in the first half, it took Porto 40 minutes to finally take the lead as Rolando broke free for just his third goal of the season.
Ten minutes later, influential Brazilian striker Hulk doubled the lead at 2-0, also with his third of the season, and Radamel Falcao made it 3-0 to the visitors with seven minutes to play.
Porto are now within five points of Braga for second place in the league, though only six games remain in the season.
Belenenses are nine points from safety and appear all but certain to be relegated.
