The agent of Porto midfielder Fredy Guarin admits that his client is on the verge of completing a move to Juventus.
The highly rated midfielder has been followed by the Bianconeri for over a year now, but the Italian giants only recently decided to make a formal offer.
Despite interest from several other European clubs, Guarin made it clear that he would only leave Porto for Juventus and it looks as though his wish will come true.
His representative has revealed that Juventus have agreed a transfer fee with the Dragons.
“Today will be confirmed the news of the transfer of Guarin to Juventus,” Marcelo Ferreyra told O Jogo.
“Porto will collect about €11 million from the operation, a figure that could rise based on some bonuses.
“Juventus will pay €4 million immediately and another €7 million in the summer.”
The Colombian joined Porto from Saint Etienne in July 2008 and has since developed into a key figure at Dragao.
Guarin played an important part in Porto’s push for the Europa League title last term, whereas he has featured in just 7 league games this season, scoring one goal in the process.
Besides Guarin, Juventus are also set to complete the signing of Radja Nainggolan from Cagliari.
