Anderlecht are closing in on Porto striker Kleber, according to Belgian newspaper Le Soir.
The Belgian giants are on the verge of agreeing a loan deal for the Brazilian forward, who should arrive at the club as a replacement for CSKA Moscow bound Matias Suarez.
Anderlecht have agreed to pay €1 million for a year-long loan, while they will also be paying the player’s wages during the loan deal.
Club’s general manager Herman Van Holsbeeck has revealed that the player has already visited Anderlecht training centre.
“He visited Neerpede (Anderlecht training centre),” Van Holsbeeck explained to Le Soir.
Kleber has already spoken to boss John van den Brom, but the two clubs have yet to sort out the final details of the contract.
The Brazilian forward joined Porto in a €5 million deal from Atletico Mineiro as a replacement for Radamel Falcao, but he never quite managed to prove his worth at Dragao Stadium.
Kleber, 22, has scored a total of 9 goals in 26 Primeira Liga appearances for the Dragons.
