Portsmouth could be set to hand caretaker manager Paul Hart the manger’s job until the end of the season, according to The Sun.
Pompey owner Sacha Gaydamak is said to have been impressed with Portsmouth under Hart so far and is set to trust him with Pompey’s relegation survival battle.
The Fratton Park players are said to be performing well under Hart and his assistant Brian Kidd and do not want to disturb the club with the installation of a new manager.
However, the Portsmouth board are still likely to bring a new manager in the summer, with former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson favourite for the job.
