It seems that Football Italia is pulling a ‘1984’ on us, football fans. The football website follows a juicy headline with an apology claiming that the page we are looking for is nonexistent. Fortunately, there is always Goal.com who manages to cherry pick these stories before they are taken off. So, Ricadro Quaresma is a target for Jose Mourinho’s Inter.
According to the football website, negotiations have already begun between Porto – Quaresma’s current club – and Inter, but the two have reached an impasse when the price of the player was cited by Porto’s representatives.
Apparently, the Portuguese champions want Inter to match the release clause in the contract of the player if they are to be given permission to talk with the winger. That clause is thought to be in the region of €40 million and it is also thought to be a little bit too high for Inter.
Ricardo Quaresma has previously attracted attention from abroad given his level of skill which has on several occasions lit up drab Champions League evenings, but no concrete offer has been made for the man who is likened to Ronaldo by Portuguese fans. Now Inter want to take the star away from Porto to build a team capable of lighting up the whole Champions League.
