(GSM) – Fiorentina manager Cesare Prandelli will not consider his long-term future before the summer. The Italian tactician has been tipped to take charge of Italy after the World Cup.
Fiorentina owner Diego Della Valle is eager to keep Prandelli in Florence, with the latter having only one more year in his contract.
Prandelli has also been linked by several reports to join a possible managerial revolution at Juventus where he will be head coach.
Prandelli has told Fiorentina supporters not to worry about the speculation. However, he think this is not the right time to discuss new deals. He spoke to reporters right before Fiorentina’s clash with Juventus.
“All the times I’ve been linked with Juventus, I have never gone there,” he told reporters.
“For any coach it is a pleasure being linked with a big side, but today I am thinking only about the match.
“As for June, we will see the situation and evaluate the plans and projects with Fiorentina’s management.”
Juventus beat Fiorentina 2-1 last night.
