(GSM) – Cesare Prandelli is hoping to stop Milan on Wednesday but he knows it’s going to be a tough task.
The Fiorentina manager has warned his men facing the Rossoneri will be less than easy.
La Viola put an end to their six-match winless streak on Sunday with a narrow 2-1 win at home to Livorno. Prandelli has prepared for Milan’s visit and has underlined the potential dangers.
“Tomorrow we will need the determination seen last Sunday,” Prandelli explained at a pre-match Press Conference.
“Milan are in great form and they showed it by winning in Bari. Berlusconi’s provocation was needed to give the team a shock.
“For us, it’s a game that could allow us to keep dreaming.”
Asked for his thoughts on Leonardo, Prandelli said: “He has given Milan a style of play and a calm atmosphere. It seems to me that he is doing very well.
“I like Leo. He has a strong personality and he knows how to make it weigh on those around him. I respect his balance and his common sense.”
Prandelli has picked out Alexandre Pato as the main threat to his side.
“He is an unpredictable player and we must pay attention, especially when we have the ball,” he concluded.
