Brazil and Costa Rica will lock horns with each other in the 2024 Copa América this week. The Group D match between Dorival Júnior’s side and Gustavo Alfaro’s team will be held at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. It is scheduled to kick off at 2 am UK time on Tuesday.

Brazil are one of the biggest footballing nations on the planet and are also one of the most successful. Seleção are used to competing in major tournaments and winning silverware, and, as expected, they will start the 2024 Copa America as one of the favourites to win it.

Canarinho have won the Copa America nine times and they will be determined to kick off the 2024 edition with a win against Costa. Brazil have reached the final of the Copa America in the past two editions. They won it in 2019 and lost the final in 2021.
