We may have a few weeks left to wait before the Premier League starts in England, but up in Scotland, the festivities will be getting underway this weekend as the nation attempts to build off of their side’s appearance at Euro 2020. The fact that this Livingston side was able to finish in the top six and get through to the championship round is as clear of an indication as any that they mean business. They’ve got a fruitful young squad, they’re impressive to watch on the ball and they never really seem to panic under pressure. It’s going to take a big effort for them to get something at Ibrox but if anyone is going to cause Rangers problems on the opening day, it’ll be them.

Livingston don’t have to concern themselves with any injuries or suspensions as they prepare to put their best starting XI forward for the opener. Obileye is set to start at the back with Montano and Shinnie hoping to impress as they have done since arriving.
