Villarreal and Barcelona will face each other in La Liga this weekend. The match will be held at Estadio de la Cerámica and is scheduled to kick off at 8pm UK time on Saturday.

Villarreal

Villarreal are struggling in La Liga at the moment. Unai Emery’s side are as low as 12th in the league table with 16 points from 13 matches, as many as 10 points behind defending champions and fourth-placed Atletico Madrid.

The Yellow Submarine will head into the match against Barcelona on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at home in Champions League Group F. It followed a 1-1 draw with Celta de Vigo away from home in La Liga.

Team News:

Arnaut Danjuma and Samuel Chukwueze are likely to start.

Barcelona

Like Villarreal, Barcelona are not having a good time in La Liga. The former Spanish and European giants are as low as seventh in the league table at the moment with 20 points from 13 matches, as many as 10 points behind leaders and bitter rivals Real Madrid.

Xavi’s side will head into the match against Villarreal on the back of a goalless draw with Benfica at Camp Nou in Champions League Group E. It followed a 1-0 victory over local rivals Espanyol at home  in La Liga.

Team News:

Memphis Depay will lead the line for Barcelona.

Key Factors to Consider
