The beauty of the Premier League is that while there may be some disruption in places throughout the course of the season, the majority of fixtures are still going to go ahead as planned; which is the case this weekend. We’re going to be taking a look at a game hat will pit two sides against one another for the second time in a matter of days as West Ham United take on Leeds United.

While they did beat Leeds 2-0 in the FA Cup less than a week ago, the Hammers can’t afford to take their eyes off of the prize. Leeds are staring down the barrel of a relegation battle but the good news for them is that the four sides below them, to put it bluntly, aren’t exactly looking great in their pursuit of survival. Marcelo Bielsa is obviously going to be under a tremendous amount of pressure between now and the end of the campaign but something tells us that isn’t going to phase him. Instead, it should serve as further motivation with the fanbase believing they can get back to their glory days – given time, of course.

Conclusion

West Ham are a well-rounded side and the important thing for them in this game is to ensure they don’t get dragged into a fire fight. We think they’ll struggle with the pace of the fixture early on but eventually, they’ll start to really come into their own and put some pressure on Leeds. Eventually, they’ll take over, leading to a comfortable 2-0 win that keeps their top six – and perhaps even top four – ambitions alive and well.
