The Daily Mail has learned that several Premiership clubs are keeping close tabs on Amiens midfielder Guessouma Fofana.
The central midfielder is the product of Le Havre’s famous youth academy, but it was at Amiens that he managed to make a name for himself.
Fofana helped the club gain promotion to the second division before going on to score 3 goals in 28 Ligue 2 matches.
He did well to catch the eye of Crystal Palace and Stoke City in the process, and the representatives of the two clubs watched the 24-year-old in action against former club Le Havre last weekend.
It is believed that Championship side Aston Villa are also keen on Fofana, who is valued at £4 million by his current employers.
The talented midfielder has a chance to secure back to back promotions with Amiens, who sit just four points behind automatic promotion places.
