Porto striker Moussa Marega, currently on loan at Vitoria Guimaraes, has emerged as one of the hottest prospects ahead of the forthcoming January transfer market.
The In-form Mali international has struck 10 goals for the Primeira Liga side this season, which was enough to attract plenty of interest from Premier League sides as well as from China, according to Portugal media outlet Abola.
The 25-year-old forward is thought to be eyed by Tottenham, Sunderland, Liverpool and Southampton, who could go on to make a formal approach for the Porto man during winter.
Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be a huge admirer of Marega’s talents and the Spurs have emerged as the frontrunners for the Mali international.
Marega started his professional career with low-tier French clubs before making a break to prominence with 15 goals in 34 matches for Portuguese side Maritimo.
It wasn’t too long before Porto came knocking, acquiring the services of the talented striker who has so far played only 9 league games and scored just one goal for his parent club.
