Duvan Zapata is on fire and Premier League clubs are taking notice. The news originally appeared before Atalanta’s Wednesday game against AS Roma, which they duly won and Zapata scored the opener in, but now they are only going to persist even more.
According to Calciomercato, Manchester United and West Ham are interested in Atalanta forward. The Colombia international is in demand after scoring 28 goals in all competitions last season for the Serie A outfit, as Atalanta reached the Champions League group stages for the first time in club history.
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of strikers in recent weeks following the summer departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, including players like Ousmane Dembele and Mousa Dembele, but West Ham have already signed Sebastian Haller this summer and it looks unlikely that they will follow through with this idea.
Zapata already scored four Serie A goals this season.
