The twenty-three year old is currently on loan at Fulham from Newcastle United and has impressed with nine goals in twelve appearances.
His form has helped propel the London side to within touching distance of the Championship’s top two and whilst Fulham are favourites to secure his services on a permanent basis, they are likely to face competition from some top flight outfits.
In two-and-a-half campaigns with Newcastle Mitrovic has racked up seventy-two appearances in all competitions, scoring seventeen goals.
Prior to his move to England the Serbia international spent two years in Belgium with Andrlecht having had spells with Teleoptik and Partizan in his home country.
Internationally he has been capped thirty-five times, scoring thirteen goals – six of which coming in their successful qualification campaign for this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.
