(GSM) – Premier League sides Sunderland and Fulham are reportedly interested in Icelandic defender Sölvi Ottesen.
It seems that Steve Bruce and Roy Hodgson have been credited with an interest in the Iceland international after reportedly sending scouts to watch him in action.
Ottesen, who is currently plying his trade in Denmark with Sonderjyske who play in the Danish Superliga, has made impressive performances which have attracted interest from a host of clubs across Europe.
And the 25-year-old’s agent, Gulli Tomasson, has admitted the central defender is in demand, but that his top priority would be to play in England.
“There are a lot of clubs watching Solvi as he has been playing really well,” Tomasson told skysports.com.
“I have heard about Sunderland and Fulham, but it is just speculation so far.
“Solvi is highly ambitious and of course he would be interested in playing in the Premier League in England.
“There have been some offers for him and we will see what happens in January.”
