Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that a number of England’s top sides are hot on the trail of Marseille winger Florian Thauvin.
The 21-year-old only joined OM from Lille last summer, but he has since largely impressed at Stade Velodrome.
It is believed that Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all keeping close tabs on the highly rated footballer with a view of stepping up their interest in the summer.
According to Radio Monte Carlo, Chelsea and Spurs are thought to be leading the chase, having watched the player in action on several occasions over the last few weeks.
Thauvin has been in fine form this season, having managed 6 goals and 3 assists in 20 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille.
OM play host to Lorient on Saturday in an attempt to further close the gap behind Champions League positions, with Jose Anigo’s side 3/4 favourites to claim maximum points.
