A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for Charlton Athletic teenager Ademola Lookman, according to the Independent.
Manchester City and Chelsea are leading the race to secure his services, though Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the situation.
The eighteen-year-old broke into the Addicks’ first team this season and has so far racked up nine senior appearances for the club, scoring three goals though he has been unable to help his side from slipping to second bottom in the Championship.
The London side were thrashed 5-0 by Huddersfield Town on Tuesday evening, a result which leaves them three points from safety and led to the dismissal of manager Karel Fraeye.
Charlton have no desire to part company with Lookman but with relegation to League One a distinct possibility they will find it difficult to turn down any offers in the region of £5m.
