Sky Germany is reporting that top Premier League sides are hot on the trail of Werder Bremen youngster David Philipp.
The central midfielder has shown a great deal of potential playing for club’s youth sides, and he has enjoyed a bright start to the new Under-19 Bundesliga campaign, bagging 2 goals and producing 4 assists in first 6 games.
Philipp’s excellent performances clearly did not go unnoticed as latest reports suggest that Liverpool and Tottenham are keen on his services.
The attacking midfielder could, therefore, leave the club without playing a single game on senior level, although he would probably be better off staying with his current employers for the time being.
Philipp, 17, is usually used as an attacking midfielder, but he can also operate on either wing.
