Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all showing interest in Athletic Bilbao midfielder Markel Susaeta, The Sun claims.
The highly rated midfielder has just over a year left on his deal at San Mames, meaning that he could be available at a cut-back price in the summer.
The Sun reports that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been impressed by the player’s performances this season and they could enter a real bidding war for the player in the summer.
Susaeta has been one of the key performers in Marcelo Bielsa’s side that completely outclassed Manchester United in Europa League and produced several more scintillating performances in Europe this season.
The 24-year-old is also attracting interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, but it remains to be seen whether he will be allowed to leave at the end of the season.
Athletic Bilbao chiefs are determined to keep the current squad together and it would take a huge offer for them to even consider selling one of their star players.
