Goals to Ricardo Fuller and Kenwyne Jones helped Tony Pulis’ men to a superb English Premier League win at the Britannia Stadium – their second in a row after a 3-2 win over Birmingham on November 9.

History is on their side, with Stoke having lost just one of their past 25 league matches against West Brom and winning six out of their past seven.

Pulis will be without long-term casualty Mamady Sidibe who is recovering from a severe Achilles injury, but striker Eidur Gudjohnsen made it through 90 minutes of the reserves’ 5-0 win over Hereford United on Wednesday.

Senegalese defensive midfielder Salif Diao made his comeback from a calf injury in the same game.

Roberto Di Matteo’s newly promoted West Brom side made an excellent start to life back in the Premier League.? But with three losses and a draw from their last four games they now find themselves in 12th place on the table with 16 points – level with Stoke, who are in tenth.

They?suffered a 1-0 loss in their trip to Wigan on Saturday.

Di Matteo will be hoping six of his players make it back from their international friendlies unscathed, with Somen Tchoyi, Chris Brunt, Gabriel Tamas, Roman Bednar, Paul Scharner and Gonzalo Jara all a chance of playing midweek.

Striker Ishmael Miller is still struggling with an abdominal strain picked up in training, and central defender Jonas Olsson is not expected to return from an Achilles problem until December.

Scottish midfielder Graham Dorrans is still bothered by a foot injury and was an unused substitute on Saturday.
