West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers must try to remember how to win when they meet in the English Premier League on Sunday.
West Brom, the hosts of this weekend’s Midlands derby at the Hawthorns, last collected three points with a 1-0 victory away to promoted side Norwich City on September 11.
It remains their only win of the campaign to date, leaving Roy Hodgson’s men in 17th place, clear of the relegation zone on goal difference only.
West Brom have taken a point from each of their last two matches, mostly recently with a 2-2 draw away to Sunderland on October 1.
Wolves are two points better off than West Brom in 14th place, but their barren run stretches longer.
Mick McCarthy’s side kicked off their campaign with two victories from their opening two matches.
But the second of those, a 2-0 win at home to Fulham on August 21, was the last time Wolves won a Premier League fixture.
They drew their next match away to Aston Villa, and have since lost four in succession, with the latest a 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle.
And the poor form shown by Wolves adds further importance to what is already a tense away derby, with local bragging rights at stake.
The international break has afforded West Brom an opportunity to clear their treatment room, with several players nearing a return from injury.
Midfielder Chris Brunt could make his first appearance of the league campaign after being sidelined by an ankle problem, while Steven Reid is in contention despite a hand injury.
Zoltan Gera, also suffering from an ankle injury, could be in line to pull on a West Brom shirt for the first time since rejoining the club from Fulham in August.
For Wolves, only defender Kevin Foley is in doubt.
Veteran centre-back Jody Craddock and forward Sylvan Ebanks-Blake returned from injury in a reserve-team match against Aston Villa on Wednesday.
