A host of the Premier League sides are said to be battling for the signature of Lyon defender Mouctar Diakhaby.
The likes of Everton, Manchester City, Chelsea and Watford are said to be huge admirers of the Ligue 1 ace who has enjoyed a string of strong performances in Ligue 1 earlier this season.
The 21-year-old was already watched by the Premier League quartet of numerous occasions this season and it is now suggested that a proper transfer race is set to be launched for his services at the end of the season.
Diakhaby is a powerful centre-back who uses his athletic ability and fearsome aerial presence to impose himself as a huge presence at both ends of the pitch and would be a valuable addition for all of the aforementioned sides.
Lyon defender has made 20 appearances across all competition for his club this season, scoring two goals in the process.
