Premier League trio in for Dundee’s Hendry

A trio of Premier League clubs are considering a move for highly rated Dundee defender Jack Hendry, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-two year old, who has been compared to Manchester City centre-back John Stones due to his ball-playing ability has recently drawn praise from Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, and now he has admires in England’s top division.

Southampton, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace could all make a move for Hendry when the transfer window reopens next month.

The Saints are on the lookout for a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk who could move on, Newcastle are currently in a woeful run of form and despite a recent revival the Eagles still harbor fears of relegation after their poor start to the campaign.

Hendry moved to Dundee from Wigan Athletic in the summer and has so far racked up twenty-one appearances for the Scottish Premiership outfit in all competitions, scoring two goals.
