A highly-rated Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is said to be a subject of an intense Premier League transfer race.
The 21-year-old prospect has emerged as one of Europe’s most wanted players with Manchester United, City and Tottenham all said to be looking to sign him this January.
The talented Frenchman has drawn plenty of attention with his impressive Champions League displays but English clubs face a difficult task in getting him during the winter transfer period.
The combative midfielder is said to have refused to leave his club until at least the end of the current season.
Ndombele played an important role in helping his team reach the Champions League knockouts – to set up a meeting with La Liga holders Barcelona – and now wants to remain at Lyon until the end of the campaign and help his club get the most out of the 2018/19 season.
Should Ndombele maintain the level of performances for the remainder of the season he won’t be short of options in the summer of 2019.
