Premiership giants vying for Cavani
Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are locked in the battle for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to Daily Express.
The highly rated forward is believed to be looking for a way out of Parc des Princes given that he is unhappy at being played on the wing.
And with the Saints already eyeing possible replacements, there is a chance the Uruguayan could leave in the January window.
This has put the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool on alert, with the Premier League sides closely monitoring the situation.
With centre forward role reserved for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Cavani has mostly been used on the wing, but he still managed 19 goals in 39 league outings.
Despite trailing leaders Marseille by seven points, Paris Saint-Germain remain 1/5 favourites to lift the league title.
Roma to bid for Matija Nastasic
Italian giants AS Roma have informed Manchester City of their interest in Serbian defender Matija Nastasic, Daily Star can reveal.
The Giallorossi missed out on the Serbia international in the summer, but they are ready to launch a fresh assault on January.
Roma officials used their Champions League trip to the Etihad to inquire about the possibility of signing Nastasic .
The Giallorossi have already signed Kostas Manolas, Davide Astori and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa in the summer window, but the problem is that only the Greek defender has been recruited on permanent basis.
And with Matija Nastasic likely to be available on a cut-price deal in January, Roma are ready to pounce.
The 21-year-old has shown some potential since arriving from Fiorentina, making 34 Premier League appearances, but he has seen his stock fall a great deal over the last year or so.
Steve Mandanda coy on exit talk
Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has refused to deny the possibility of leaving the club in the January transfer window.
The experienced shot-stopper has spent last seven years at Stade Velodrome and he was linked with a summer exit.
Mandanda has another two years left on his contract, meaning that Marseille could still earn a nice profit if they sell the player in January, but the 29-year-old is unconcerned by the transfer talk.
The France international has, however, admitted that a winter exit remains a realistic possibility at the moment.
“I do not know if I will leave OM, I may remain at the club for the remainder of my career, but also leave in January,” Mandanda told Telefoot.
Since joining the club from Le Havre, Mandanda has made 269 Ligue 1 appearances and it’s been over four years since he last missed a league fixture.
