Premiership sides battle for Sissoko

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Mohamed Sissoko could be moving to English Premier League this summer, according to Le Parisien.

The 28-year-old, who spent last six months on loan at Fiorentina, is not in the first team plans of new boss Laurent Blanc, and it is already clear he will be leaving the club this summer.

Even if the Malian has one year left on his deal at Parc des Princes, club chiefs are prepared to terminate his contract and allow him to leave on a free transfer.

According to Le Parisien, the likes of Everton, QPR, Cardiff City and Besiktas are monitoring the situation closely, hoping to win the race for the experienced midfielder.

Mohamed Sissoko has spent last seven years playing at the highest level, having represented Liverpool, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Fiorentina, but it is becoming clear that he will have to join a smaller side if he wants to continue playing on regular basis.
