L’Equipe understands that Rennes players Mevlut Erding and Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik could be moving to English Premier League this summer.
With les Bretons set to complete the signing of Pablo Piatti from Valencia, they seem prepared to cash in on the Turkish forward.
According to L’Equipe, Stoke City are keeping close tabs on the 26-year-old, with a view of luring him to Britannia Stadium.
Erding has scored 15 goals in 45 Ligue 1 appearances since joining from Paris Saint-Germain, and he was on the scoresheet as Rennes defeated Reims in the opening match of the season.
Meanwhile, newly promoted Crystal Palace are believed to be interested in Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik, who is widely regarded as one of the most talented defenders in France’s top flight.
The 24-year-old has already amassed no less than 92 top flight appearances for les Bretons and he would probably jump at the opportunity to move to England this summer.
