(GSM) – Eredivisie champions Twente are set to lock horns with VVV in the league.
Both teams have already played six matches but started off poorly – each by their standards.
Twente, who were guided to the Eredivisie title by Steven McClaren last season, have picked up nine points in six matches.
VVV, on the other hand, have managed to secure only five points from their opening six matches.
VVV will miss Japanese defender Maya Yoshida with forwards Jorge Chula and Diogo Viana doubtful for the clash.
The Good-Old will be hoping that the champions do not capitalize on their relatively-weak defense that have seen them concede seven goals in six matches.
Meanwhile Twente coach Michel Preud’homme will be delighted to enter the game with a clean bill of first-team players.
