Betting Odds
Swansea City (20/19) v Blackburn Rovers (31/10); Draw (5/2)
West Bromwich Albion (15/13) v Queens Park Rangers (29/10); Draw (5/2)
Bet of the Day
Saturday’s value bets of the day are Swansea to draw with Blackburn and QPR to earn an away point at The Hawthorns versus West Bromwich Albion, with each bet paying 5/2 odds.
Preview: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers
Steve Kean and Blackburn Rovers travel to the Liberty Stadium in Wales to take on Brendan Rodgers’ Swansea City on Saturday, with kick-off set for 15:00 GMT.
Kean’s Blackburn are currently in 19th place in the Premier League table, while top-tier newcomers Swansea are in 14th position.
Rovers poor form has seen them tally just three points out of a possible 15 in their last five league fixtures.
Meanwhile, Swansea have posted an identical record in their last five games, with both clubs on a four-match losing streak heading into Saturday’s clash at Liberty Stadium.
However, the Swans have been quite stingy at home, conceding just 14 goals in Wales, en route to a 6-6-4 home record.
On the other side of the touchline, Blackburn have conceded a whopping 38 league goals away from home. Furthermore, Rovers’ road record, 2-6-8, is pretty awful to be perfectly honest.
Prediction
Nothing to separate the two sides, 1-1 draw.
Preview: West Bromwich Albion v Queens Park Rangers
Queens Park Rangers will look to keep their good form running when they travel to the The Hawthorns to battle West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
QPR boss Mark Hughes has led the newly promoted side to three wins in their last five Premier League matches, including notable triumphs over Liverpool and Arsenal.
In contrast, Albion have won just four points out of their last 15, dropping them to 13th place in the table.
In addition, West Brom have been far from great at home, posting a peculiar 5-2-9 record at The Hawthorns. Subsequently, Albion are one of the few clubs that have a better away record, 6-4-7, than home record.
On the other hand, Queens Park Rangers are much better at home, 5-5-7, than they are are away from home, 3-2-11.
Expect the Hoops dismal away record to improve on Saturday, but ever so slightly.
Prediction
Nothing to separate the two sides, 1-1 draw.
