With the chance to widen their gap at the top of Ligue 1 to double digits, PSG will make the trip to a rock-bottom Dijon on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, crashing out of the Coupe de France thanks to a 2-0 defeat away at Bordeaux in midweek, it has been a very worrying start to November for Dijon. Already sat two points adrift at the foot of the table and seen to be one of the leading contenders to be hit with a Ligue 2 return next summer, it will be their form in the final third most worrying fans around the Stade Gaston-Gérard. Now failing to record a single strike in their last three appearances, Stéphane Jobard’s men have recorded just five goals this season, the worst tally of any side in France’s top-tier.

As for the visitors, while PSG may have suffered shock defeats against Rennes and Reims at the start of the year, the defending champions are enjoying an eye-catching winning run. Picking up an empathic 4-0 win over Marseille last time out, the French giants have won their last seven matches across all formats and already hold an eight-point heading into November. Along with continuing to shine in the final third, fans around Paris will be growing most impressed by PSG’s newfound defensive resolve. Thomas Tuchel’s men have conceded just a single goal in over 550 minutes of action.
