Competition: Ligue 1

Market: PSG to beat Caen

Odds: 4/6 @ Bet365

With Thomas Tuchel now confirmed as the new boss at PSG, the newly crowned Ligue 1 champions will travel to Stade Michel d’Ornano on Saturday night.

For Patrice Garande’s Caen side, after a dreadful run of form has seen them now embark on a ten-match winless run, SMC are coming off the back of a 4-1 loss away at Nice and have now lost their last three on the bounce, shipping nine in those three defeats. With just one match remaining in Ligue 1 this year, Caen now sit in 17th position and just three points above Toulouse, however, with an eight-goal deficit, if they can not better Toulouse’s result on Saturday then they will be relegated. Caen have also failed to beat PSG in their last 15 attempts, losing 13 of those matchups.

As for PSG, after reclaiming their Ligue 1 title from Monaco in emphatic fashion, The Blues have confirmed former Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel as their new boss and The Parisians will be desperate to impress their new manager. While the visitors are coming off the back of a 2-0 defeat at home to Rennes in their last outings, they are averaging nearly three goals per game and have now only lost one of their last 15 Ligue 1 matches. One man to watch will be Ligue 1 top scorer Edinson Cavani, the Uragyian international now has 28 for the season and also has five in his last four.
