Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain and Valencia are locked in the battle for Benfica forward Goncalo Guedes.
The 20-year-old footballer is widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest prospects and he has largely impressed since nailing down a regular starting berth at Estadio da Luz.
Guedes has managed 5 goals and 7 assists in 23 competitive appearances for the Eagles this season and he is now being heavily linked with a big club move.
According to A Bola, the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Valencia are readying January offers for the highly rated forward.
The Saints seem ready to bid €30 million for Guedes, whereas los Che plan to offer €25 million, while allowing the youngster to finish the season in Portugal.
It remains to be seen whether Benfica will be prepared to entertain proposals for their star player, given that he has only recently become a first team regular.
