Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have moved to confirm reports that Yohan Cabaye and Lucas Digne hope to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
A number of high-profile players have been linked with a move away from Parc des Princes, with Edinson Cavani, Thiago Motta and Ezequiel Lavezzi among them.
However, PSG coach Laurent Blanc has admitted that Yohan Cabaye and Lucas Digne will request a transfer at the end of the season.
“Digne and Cabaye will definitely ask to leave,” the coach told beIN SPORT.
Both players have struggled for playing time since joining the Saints and it appears they will be allowed to leave in search of first team football.
Lucas Digne, 21, made a total of 29 league outings after making a switch from Lille, playing second fiddle to veteran Maxwell most of the time.
Meanwhile, Cabaye joined from Newcastle in January 2014 and went on to start 21 Ligue 1 fixtures, while making another 16 substitute appearances.
