Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has added fuel to speculation linking the Saints with a January bid for FC Porto star Yacine Brahimi.
The Algerian footballer has largely impressed since joining the Dragons from Granada in the summer and he has already caught the eye of Europe’s top sides.
According to the latest reports, Paris Saint-Germain lead the chase for his services and they could try and lure him to Parc des Princes in January.
The Saints missed out on Brahimi back in 2006 as the then 16-year-old opted to join Rennes, but coach Laurent Blanc admits the Algeria star is back on their radar.
“I know him very well. He is a player who has started the season brilliantly, I had the opportunity to see him play,” Black told reporters after the Ligue 1 match against Nice.
Yacine Brahimi, 24, has been in scintillating form this season, bagging 7 goals in 16 competitive outings.
FC Porto trail arch rivals Benfica three points in the league standings, but the Dragons can be backed at 2/9 to see off Rio Ave later today and stay close to their title rivals.
