PSG confirm Messi talks

“There are talks ongoing, our board discussed with Messi about new contract — I don’t know more”, Galtier said.

“I see Leo very happy here in Paris, so then we will see his position about the club’s project”.

According to PSG manager Christophe Galtier, talks are ongoing with Lionel Messi regarding a new contract with the club.

Last month, Lionel Messi finally achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a world champion. He helped guide Argentina to World Cup glory and in the process, cemented his status as probably the greatest footballer of all time.

Alas, that hasn’t stopped the questions from flooding in. The veteran has been subjected to a lot of speculation over his future, and whether or not he wants to spend it with Paris Saint-Germain.

All accounts indicate that he’s having a good time in France. In equal measure, though, Barcelona have made no secret of their desire to bring him back to the Nou Camp at some stage before he retires.
