Anderlecht starlet Leander Dendoncker has been the subject of intense transfer speculation over the past couple of weeks.
The 22-year-old talent is said to be under scrutiny from Manchester United who had their emissaries in Belgium for Anderlecht’s Jupiler League season opener against Antwerp. Red Devils are believed to be monitoring the exciting prospect closely although the local news outlet De Morgan claim that Dendoncker is also targeted by AC Milan and RB Leipzig.
The latest reports coming from Belgium, however, suggest that French giants Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as hot favourites to land the highly sought-after midfielder.
Anderlecht have slapped a €38 million price tag on the 22-year-old in effort to keep the interested parties at bay, but the wealthy Parisians will not be deterred by the steep asking price.
Belgium midfielder has been a true revelation for his team last season when he made 40 league starts and added 5 goals to his name during that time.
