Inter captain an in-form striker Mauro Icardi is tantalizing some of Europe’s biggest sides.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is believed to be a huge admirer of Icardi’s talents and is said to be preparing a move for the Argentine forward who is seen as a perfect upgrade to Los Blancos’ struggling attack.
Spanish and European champions are not alone in their race for Icardi’s signature as Paris Saint-Germain are also eyeing Inter Milan forward.
Corriere dello Sport reports the French heavyweights are keen to ruin Real Madrid’s efforts with a bumper contract in excess of €40 million for a five-year contract.
Icardi is seen as a direct replacement for Edinson Cavani who could be pushed out of the Paris-based club in the summer.
On the other side, Los Blancos are offering a five-year contract worth €45 million in total, whereas the Argentine would retain up to 50% of his image rights.
