Paris Saint-Germain are pondering a double swoop for Real Madrid stars Gonzalo Higuain and Kaka, L’Equipe reports.
The Saints are determined to continue their policy of signing world-class players and are already making moves in the transfer market.
According to L’Equipe, the French giants are readying bids for Real Madrid stalwarts Gonzalo Higuain and Kaka.
PSG chairman Nasser al-Khelaifi personally met both players to try and persuade them into accepting an offer from the French capital.
The Qatari owners are looking to avoid the disappointment of missing out on David Beckham, Carlos Tevez and Alexandre Pato, and they are doing their best to secure the signing of Real Madrid stars.
With both players mostly restricted to substitute appearances at Santiago Bernabeu, PSG chiefs believe they can strike a deal with Real Madrid as well as the players themselves.
Kaka and Higuain won’t come on the cheap, however, seeing they are tied to Real until 2014 and 2016 respectively.
