Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Mohamed Salah from Liverpool in the January transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Liverpool are interested in securing the services of France international forward Kylian Mbappe, who wants to leave PSG in the January transfer window. If the Reds make a move for the 23-year-old, then the defending Ligue 1 champions will ask for cash as well as Salah in a deal.
Salah has been on the books of Liverpool since 2017 and has established himself as an important player in manager Jurgen Klopp’s side. The 30-year-old Egypt international forward has scored two goals and provided three assists in eight Premier League matches and has scored two goals in three UEFA Champions League games for the Merseyside club so far this campaign.
Liverpool are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from eight matches, as many as 14 points behind leaders Arsenal. Meanwhile, PSG currently find themselves at the top of the Ligue 1 standings with 26 points from 10 games, a point chew of second-placed Lorient.
