French giants Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up January move for Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to Sport Mediaset.
The Saints believe the Italy international would be a very good long-term replacement for Thiago Motta, another Brazilian who decided to represent the Azzurri at international level.
As a result, PSG could soon come forward with an official proposal, having been impressed with the midfielder’s performances this season.
Jorginho began the current season on the bench, but he was in the starting line-up in victories over Lazio, Juventus and AC Milan that saw the Azzurri revive their top 3 bid.
The 23-year-old is slowly becoming a very important player for Napoli, although the club chiefs now face a battle on their hands to keep hold of their prized asset.
Brazilian-born midfielder has spent his entire professional career in Italy, so no wonder that he decided to play for the country’s national team.
