PSG eyeing Ricardo Pereira

Paris Saint-Germain have been showing interest in FC Porto full-back Ricardo Pereira, according to A Bola.

The 23-year-old is due to report back at Estadio do Dragao after a two-year loan stint with Nice, but it appears that he may be returning to France after all.

Namely, Ligue 1 runners up Paris Saint-Germain are keen on bringing Pereira to Parc des Princes and they are soon expected to come forward with an official proposal.

The Saints watched the Portuguese defender on several occasions this season, but it was his excellent performance in the 3-1 victory over PSG that made all the difference.

Pereira scored and assisted in said match, meaning he had a key role to play in preventing the French giants from defending the Ligue 1 trophy.

However, there are clearly no hard feelings as PSG now want him to become a part of their squad.
