PSG have ‘no plans’ to sign Taarabt

Talk Sport is today reporting that French giants Paris Saint Germain have distanced themselves from a move for Queens Park Rangers winger Adel Taarabt in the January transfer window.

The Rangers man was linked with a move to Ligue 1 back in 2011, however a deal never materialised and it was thought they were ready to revamp their interest in the Moroccan in the New Year.

But it seems as though PSG are looking elsewhere to boost their attacking options in January and it is likely the Taarabt will be staying in the English Premier League.

The clubs president told newspaper Le Buteur: “Despite rumours in the press we have not made any move for the player. Right now, he is not in our plans.”

There is no doubt that the 23-year-old is a top quality player that can really help QPR out of the relegation battle they seem to find themselves in right now.

However, his attitude often comes under question and he is often making the headlines for the wrong reasons.

If manager Mark Hughes does manage to get the best out of him, then it would be great for Rangers, but they may have a fight on their hands to keep him in January if he is on top of his game.

We shall see.
