New Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are planning an ambitious assault on Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, AS can reveal.
It is no secret that the Saints are looking to sign a replacement for Thiago Motta, who is almost certain to leave Parc des Princes at the end of the season.
According to AS, Real Madrid star Casemiro has emerged as their top target, but persuading los Blancos to sell will be no easy task.
The Brazilian has formed an impressive midfield trio with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, making 86 league appearances for los Blancos since joining from Sao Paulo.
He has been an integral member of the side under Zinedine Zidane and chances are Real Madrid will not be listening to offers for his services.
