Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offer Philippe Coutinho a way out of Barcelona and have already begun talks with his representatives over a summer transfer, according to Sky Sports.
Only a day earlier, reports emerged of the Brazilian keen on a move to Chelsea, but it seems the Ligue 1 champions have stepped into the fray with decisive action.
Much has been said about Coutinho’s failures at the Camp Nou since his big-money move in January last year, and it is expected the price for his services will be significantly lower this time around. He left Liverpool as a star; if he leaves Barcelona now, it will be as a wasted investment by the Catalan club.
Manchester United are also keen on the services of the 27-year-old playmaker, but it appears he is unwilling to consider signing for his former club’s greatest rivals out of respect. A move to the Parc Des Princes, however, could be just the thing he needs to get his career back on track.
