PSG in for Wendell?

Wendell of Bayer Leverkusen is apparently a man in much demand these days. French outlet Le10Sport claim that Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to fight the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid for his signature this summer.

Atletico are in need of defensive reinforcements, and should he opt for Wanda Metropolitano and Madrid, Wendell would be stepping into the breach made by the departure of Lucas Hernandez to Bayern Munich, while experienced centre-back Diego Godin is also on his way out.

Meanwhile, PSG want the 25-year-old Brazilian to take the left-back spot from Juan Bernat, whom they obviously do not deem good enough for the successes they crave.

Leverkusen will not give up their defender gladly, and with his deal running for further two years, the Bundesliga side are certainly in a position to demand a significant fee for his services should he wish to change his surroundings this summer.
