PSG in new bid for Kurzawa
French daily newspaper L’Equipe is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are not giving up on Monaco full-back Layvin Kurzawa.
The Saints plan to lure the talented footballer to Parc des Princes due to the fact that Lucas Digne is nearing a summer move to AS Roma.
PSG have recently submitted an €18 million proposal for the player’s services, but have seen the bid rejected by Monaco.
Namely, the Principality club want around €30 million for Kurzawa, meaning the ball is back in PSG’s court.
The 23-year-old has developed into one of country’s leading left-sided defenders and has been linked with quite a few top sides in the past.
It is believed he is tempted by the prospect of joining Paris Saint-Germain, and is hoping the Ligue 1 rivals will eventually come to an agreement.
Lyon eyeing Inter’s Brozovic
French giants Lyon are showing interest in Dinamo Zagreb star Marcelo Brozovic, according to reports in France.
Les Gones are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements in the light of Clement Grenier’s injury and they are hot on the trail of the Croatia star.
Brozovic is currently on loan with Inter Milan until the end of the season, while the Nerazzurri have the option to make the transfer permanent.
And while Lyon would love to lure the 22-year-old to Stade Gerland, the Serie A side have no intention of letting him go.
Inter Milan did well to win the chase for the player’s signature, who then went on to start 13 league fixtures.
The Nerazzurri kick off the new Serie A campaign at home against Atalanta and are 9/20 to claim maximum points.
Porto in talks for Lucas Lima
FC Porto officials are still working hard on the deal taking Santos midfielder Lucas Lima to Estadio do Dragao, A Bola has learned.
It is no secret that the Brazilian footballer is the primary target for the Dragons at the moment and it is believed the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement.
However, it is the player’s high wage demands that could prove an obstacle to the deal, as Porto do not seem ready to break the bank for the 25-year-old footballer.
Lucas Lima wants a contract worth around €1.55 million per season, as well as a €3 million signing-on fee, which the Dragons have no intention of paying.
The attacking midfielder is in line to earn his first Brazil cap having been named in the squad for matches against Costa Rica and the United States.
Lima has spent last two years with Santos, scoring 5 goals and producing 8 assists in 52 league outings.
