Paris Saint-Germain are stepping up their efforts to sign Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia, Il Tempo can reveal.
With Adrien Rabiot and Yohan Cabaye being linked with Parc des Princes exit, the Saints are in the market for a new central midfielder.
According to Il Tempo, they have made Lazio star Lucas Biglia their primary target and have already established initial contact with the Serie A side.
The first meeting was held in France a couple of weeks ago, with the Saints having started bidding at €15 million. Lazio are holding out for €30 million, but they could lower the asking price due to the poor financial situation.
It is important to note that Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on the Argentina star as well, although it would appear as though PSG have the upper hand.
Lucas Biglia has developed into an important player for both club and country and he made six appearances for Argentina at the 2014 World Cup finals.
