PSG in talks over Leandro Paredes

According to Sky Sports News, Paris Saint-Germain are in talks over the potential signing of Leandro Paredes. The 24 year old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Zenit St Petersburg for what feels like forever, after joining the Russian club back in 2017. In that time he’s been able to have a relatively successful tenure with Zenit, after joining from Roma where he spent the previous three years of his career. Now, though, it appears as if French giants PSG are more than willing to break the bank in order to sign him, with a bid of around £31 million supposedly being submitted by the champions.

PSG are entering a race that also involves Premier League side Chelsea, who are also believed to be interested in Paredes. The Argentine international likely won’t have all too long to make a decision about his future, given that we’re already over half way through the transfer window.
