Paris Saint-Germain are one of the clubs chasing Siena forward Mattia Destro, according to the Italian club.
The player, who is co-owned by Genoa and Siena, is one of the hottest commodities on the transfer market, with a host of Europe’s top clubs competing for the player’s signature.
Everything suggests that neither of the two clubs will be able to hold on to the 21-year-old, but the heavy competition means his price is constantly increasing.
While it has already been confirmed that Roma, Inter and Juventus are interested in signing Destro, Siena sporting director Stefano Antonelli explains that Paris Saint-Germain are also keen.
“It is not just Roma, Inter Milan and Juventus who are keeping tabs on Mattia Destro,” Antonelli told Sky Sport Italia.
“Foreign clubs have also expressed interest in him. Paris Saint-Germain are interested and there are also other clubs abroad that are very keen on the player.”
The highly rated striker started his career at Inter, but failed to make a single appearance for the Neroazzurri before making a switch to Genoa.
After spending one season with the Rossoblu, Destro moved to Siena last summer and has since scored 12 goals in 30 Serie A games for Robur.
